The Automatic Fire Alarm Monitoring system was designed specifically to monitor fire protection systems to New Zealand Fire Service standards and to meet the requirements of New Zealand fire protection companies. Although its main purpose is to send fire signals to the New Zealand Fire Service, the vast majority of signals are associated with the maintenance and servicing of fire protection systems. Automatic Fire Alarm Monitoring's system enables your service agent to provide the most efficient and effective level of service; and one that will continue to evolve to meet changing needs.
Some building owners were obliged to enter into long monitoring contracts when the NZFS appointed an exclusive monitoring service provider. That arrangement is now at an end and we are able to offer contracts of almost any term.
Automatic Fire Alarm Monitoring Limited is not an adjunct to a Security watchroom service. We are dedicated to providing Fire Protection monitoring.
Automatic Fire Alarm Monitoring can provide our fire alarm monitoring service via your fire alarm service agent. As building owners you will have been paying one company for the monitoring of your fire protection system and another for its maintenance and servicing. Now you can combine the two, so your Fire Alarm Service Agent can offer a complete service with one invoice. AFAM’s monitoring charge will be shown separately in your service agent's invoice.
Even if you select the convenience of a combined Service Agent and Monitoring invoice, at any time you can change your Fire Alarm Service Agent without having to change your Fire Alarm Monitoring Provider.
For the convenience of customers transferring from an existing monitoring service provider, the Automatic Fire Alarm Monitoring equipment is provided in an enclosure that exactly matchs the footprint of most existing fire alarm monitoring systems. However, the equipment is actually very small and can be removed from the enclosure when space is at a premium.
Most fire alarm panels include outputs to an extension board to allow the panel to communicate with the monitoring equipment. However, with the Automatic Fire Alarm Monitoring equipment, you can ignore this extension board and connect directly to the panel - potentially saving hundreds of dollars for equipment you no longer need to purchase.
Do you need to know when a door is opened, or a pump starts? What about when a temperature sensor activates? Low pressure in a pnuematic system? The Automatic Fire Alarm Monitoring equipment includes additional inputs which can be configured to alert just about anyone to just about anything.
